At Lake Hawks, kids learn the game in a fun, encouraging environment that builds confidence, teamwork, and healthy habits that last a lifetime. Our focus is on skill development, sportsmanship, and helping every player grow — on and off the field.
About Us
Lake Gaston Lake Hawks Soccer is a recreational youth soccer program competing in the Southern Virginia Futbol League alongside teams from Clarksville, Lunenburg, and Charlotte County. Our players enjoy a mix of home and away games while learning the fundamentals of soccer in a positive, supportive environment.
While we always encourage healthy competition, our focus is on development, sportsmanship, and fun. Every player receives meaningful playing time, ensuring all kids have the opportunity to learn, grow, and enjoy the game.
Volunteer
Our league thrives because of dedicated volunteers from our community. From coaching and assistant coaching to fundraising, cookouts, and event support, volunteers play a vital role in creating a positive soccer experience for our players.
If you’re interested in helping, you can sign up to volunteer at the same time you register your child to play. Assistant coaches are always in high demand, and no prior experience is required — just a willingness to support and encourage our players.
